A new map for a new year, based on an old map from long ago.
The base layer of this map started off as a scan of a vintage map of the Iberian peninsula from 1849. It has been painstakingly retouched to reveal the more important details.
Over the top lie 57 routes which connect to form a network of pilgrimage roads to Santiago (as well as a few other destinations).
It is printed on a soft textured and paper stock (250g) with a slight gloss. The paper measures 50x70cm (19.69 x 27.56in) so that it fits into common modern frames, but the map itself is a few cm narrower.
Hang it to plan and be motivated by, hang it as a celebration, hang it for the bragging rights that come from being able to say "I walked that!"
A big thank you to everyone that makes a purchase, your support keeps the dream alive.
The poster ships rolled up and snug in a tube and safe from folding or crushing.
